A Venue of Excellence where children can achieve full potential in Academic, Creative, Personal, Physical, Moral and Spiritual development.

The proclaimed objectives of the Trust are:

• To build, construct, establish, take-over, run, maintain, manage and/or render financial help to any educational and /or scientific institutions for imparting education in Arts, Crafts, Science, Medical, Engineering Vocational &Technical subjects or for research in any or all of the above.
• To constitute, establish, run maintain, manage and/ or render financial help to one or more polytechnic institutes, Research institutions or other centers for the training of young men and women in technical, mechanical, scientific and similar pursuits.
• To render financial help to any charitable organization, institutions for poor and disabled persons requiring and deserving such help.
• To provide for payment of scholarship to students.
• To provide for payment of school or college fees, boarding and/or lodging charges and purchases of educational books or stationery for poor students.
• To provide general medical relief by subscribing to or establishing charitable dispensaries, hospitals, clinics and/or to give medical relief to poor.
• To give monetary aid or otherwise provide relief for flood or famine or any other natural calamities like earthquakes, tsunami and cyclones.
• To provide financial help for education and/or maintenance to destitute, deserving poor widows.
• To open orphanage homes or assist in the conduct of any institutions for protection of orphans.
• To provide for the construction of buildings for the accommodation of and conduct schools, colleges, research institutions, medical clinics and dispensaries.
• To feed poor and/ or disabled persons or for maintenance of beggar homes or institutions for beggars and/ or disabled persons.
• To encourage study, institute prizes, shields etc, for students in any school, college undergoing training in particular fields or those engaged in research in any field or creative activity.
• To encourage and give financial aid to all deserving poor and unemployed or incapacitated persons in distress of all religions castes and creed.

• To focus on children’s right through the creation of opportunities for Education, Cultural Empowerment and Skill Enhancement and to promote development activities that assert strong  values of Nationalism,Unity,Harmony,Peace,equality and a Humane Society, where Children can celebrate life with Joy and Laughter.
• To Empower Marginalized person’s with a special emphasis on Youth, Women and Children.
• To Emphasize Positive values through Education and natural promotion of Love ,Peace, Harmony and Unity.

THE STAGE:

Once the Trust was formally launched, the stage was set for the performance. The Trust, in its own wisdom, decided to venture into the realm of Education with the following cherished goals and ideals:

• To arrange high-standard educational infrastructure which is an essential requisite for providing quality education to all deserving students at affordable cost.
• To discover, rekindle and develop the inherent, innate and infinite potential otherwise lying dormant in the young minds of students and help them to achieve pinnacles of success in life.
• To impart vigorous and stringent training to the young minds so as to channelize their energy and streamline their talents.
• To aim at the overall development of the child's personality by providing an environment conductive to physical, social, mental, moral, spiritual and intellectual - in line with the lofty ideals and high pedestals which form the basis on which the Trust is designated and designed to function.
• To render child-centric education, giving individual attention with provision for remedial teaching.
• Having set the goals and vision, the Trust made an earnest analytical study of the predominant problems and issues confronting the primary, Upper primary and Higher Secondary sections of school life with special emphasis on the schools where students hailing from middle or lower middle class families or those with rural or semi-urban background throng. Many of these students, especially wards of agricultural and other rural laborers, petty traders, etc. find it extremely agonizing to continue their study in the High School Classes, thanks to the prohibitive cost of text and notebooks, stationery, uniforms, bus journey etc and hence are forced to drop out. These less-privileged class of our society also could not afford the luxury of studying in reputed educational institutions mostly run by private managements, either due to stringent admission conditionality or exorbitant fee structure and other expenses. Also many schools lacked even basic infrastructure like class rooms, furniture, toilets, library, play ground, and other recreational arrangements, Laboratories and other facilities including computer training etc. And last, but not the least, the existing noon-meal scheme is fraught with many short comings and deficiencies and has failed to live up to the expectations of the students and their parents-much is left to be desired in that field.

Having successfully diagnosed the symptoms of the disease, the Trust decided to focus on these fundamental problems confronting our rural folk and to address them squarely in their maiden effort to reach out to the rustic masses. The trust decided to identify schools where such maladies preeminently persisted. Decks were cleared thus for the first ever takeover of Kalluvazhi A.U.P.School.
