The school is situated in Vilayanchathanur village, 10 km from Palakkad town. When  the trust  took over the school in 2001  there were only less than 1000 students in all ,in classes I to VII.The current  student strength is 1179 with  574 Boys and 605  Girls along with 50 Teachingstaff and 1 Non - teaching staff . The New Building.consisting of Ground +2 floors.
